HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One... Problem

PROBLEM

Have a cartridge error with a HP 5610 all-in-one. Says to refer to device documentation. Nothing seems to work in fixing the problem. Please help.

SOLUTION
  1. My HP5610 was acting up with the error in cartridge thiny.
I held down the # and the 3 and reset the unit and it is back
    in business.
  2. Is there any other error messages? Like carriage jam or something? If there are no other error then try to do a partial reset on your printer, to do that follow these steps:

Turn your printer on, remove the power cable at the back of your printer while the printer is ON. PRESS AND HOLD the # key and 3 key on the keypad, plug back the power cable WITHOUT releasing those buttons, DO NOT RELEASE THE BUTTONS until you can see the WELCOME SCREEN or INPROPER SHUT DOWN PRESS OK TO CONTINUE.
  3. But before throwing away the (supposed broken) HP5610 I made the last attempt: I gave it the power with the new power supply and...surprise, the printer worked perfectly!!

I hope this helps, most of all I hope you didn't throw away your HP5610...;-)

HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer - HP 5610

PROBLEM

Can't get scan to work. Printer states "no scan options".
Followed advice in manual best I could, no luck. Need some help
here.

SOLUTION
  1. If you have windows vista and it comes up with the "no scan options" don't press the button on the printer, go to "start" then "accessories" then "paint". This will open up the windows paint program. Go to "File" then click on "From scanner or printer". It will then scan the document, no more problems! Happy scanning

HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer - I have no computer connection with my printer

PROBLEM

I have a HP officejet 5610si All-in-One printer. I just got my computer back from being repaired. (virus) Now when I go to print, the screen on my printer says, "There is no computer connection. Refer to device doncumentation to troulbeshoot, press ok." I noticed that I do not have a printer icon on the lower right hand side of my computer screen.(it was there prior to my computer problems) I have checked the connections and they seem to be properly installed. What should I try next?

SOLUTION
  1. First step is to make sure your printer is on and as you stated plugged into the computer, and re-boot to see if windows installs the drivers for that printer, if not go to the site below:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=441125&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us&submit=Go%20%C2%BB

Chose which verison of windows you are running and click on that then dowload and run!

Note: this is the Hp site for that printer model for future use i would add to the favorites/borwser for future use!
