Problem
My gameboy advancewont turn on. I dropped it a few times, but i never spilled anything onto it. I opened it up, but I can't see the problem. When I turn it on, the light turns green then quickly shuts off. I don't see the gameboy logo or hear it turn on. Please help!!
Solution
- Maybe the GBA will not accept rechargable batteries and will only take disposable ones :|
- make sure your batteries is new, if so put the batteries in reverse then put them back in normal position, if it didn't work, take it to an expert .
Problem
Hi i have a leapster but it wont switch on I also have no manual if i could just find the manual id sort it out
Solution
- I wanted to report back that I was finally able to purchase a new Leapster. I have been checking multiple retailers for almost 2 months. They had a full stock available this week. I purchased a new one (I had returned mine to the retailer) and am happy to report that all is working beautifully with the new one. I just wish Leapster would have been more open with their communication. It's pretty obvious to me that they were very aware of this issue. Still a fan!!!
- Hold down the power on button and did not power up. Still waiting for answer from Leapfrog.
Problem
i was playing john woo's strangllehold. i had just died and was about to restart the level but the game took a long time loading , it never restarted. i turned the console off and truned it back on it i could noy get pass the menu page. usually when i put a game in it automatcally starts so i dont know wsup.
Solution
- power cord fell out while games was on pause. Now my ps3 wont play any games. WTF. SONY WARRANTY BETTER GIVE IN.
- you have to reset the hardware.. go to settings and click reset format ... it sucks because everything on your system has to get deleted but the game will work after
- the problem could be the laser that reads the discs.. mine has the same problem. i insert the discs wether it be blu ray, ps3, or a dvd and the ps3 just reads the discs constantly... doesnt play them or even recognize what they are.
- Try to do a system reset. It's in the ps3 menu under system.
- it just happened to me as well today but all i cant find about how to fix the problem is to take it back to the shop and get a new one-i know its not really a "how to fix it" but unless you want to break it open and have a go cutting wires id just return it for a new one and hopefully the shop wont charge
Problem
Well, Santa messed up this year! We purchased a Smart Cycle from Target, and left it set up in the house while we visited family....when we returned, there it was, all set-up and ready from "Santa" for our 4 1/2 year old son. The system comes with one game cartridge...we turned on the unit, and my son followed the directions (while I was standing there) and then the problems started. First, the system completely locked up soon after he began peddling....then, the system would re-start. We changed to another cartridge, and the same problems. I've checked other sites, reviews, etc., and the only problems I've found are with the peddles coming loose, so I'm guessing this might just be a faulty system that needs to be exchanged?

Hey guys, I was having the same problem. Just call this number and the fisher price people can walk you through how to fix it. If not they can re place it for you. - Grandma bought this for my 4 yr old twins. It doesn't peddle? Trying to find troubleshooting tips from Fisher-Price with little luck.
- I had similar problems. It was hard to turn on, and the toy will shut itself off mysteriously. The power on/off switch was loose and making bad contacts. I took out the seven screws underneath the grey control console. Turns out the circuit board along with the power switch were not securely fastened ($100 for this?!!). Tightening a few screws so the power switch would not jiggle, and snapping the console back on, problem solved within 5 minutes.
Problem
The wireless adapter you plug into the console will not work. any suggestions? Is this piece replaceable?
Solution
- Wow I have had the same problem! I, also, bought it from amazon....!!!!:( I am going to call the manufacturer and see if it has some sort of warranty!! This sucks, a waste of $100
- My GH3 wireless recivers is broken because it wont read the guitars signals and the light is not shining. Batteries were fine and both slots of the PS2 wont make it work. Can someone tell me how to fix or renew it I would really appreciate it. I got GH3 from amazon.com
Problem
Do you have any troubleshooting help for a Leapfrog Leapster? The touch screen doesn't seem to work anylonger (even after new batteries). Any help on how to fix it so that the pen will work with the touchscreen would be great. My niece gave it to me for my toddler to use...so I would guess it would be about 4-5 years old (the original Leapster).
Solution
- WOW,I tried eveything and my pen wasnt working,I thought it needed to be calibrated but I tried leaning around the screen and there was a little piece of paper stuck inside, it works perfectly now.thanks for the tip..My son will be happy
- This solution may sound silly, but we have two leapsters (one is dead now - corroded on the inside). After a few weeks, we had sound and no picture on one. After several days of trying new batteries and pressing all the buttons and stuff, it ended up being one of the little buttons on the bottom that my son had been playing with. Try pushing the circle buttons at least five times each and see if that makes a difference. I had tried them, but only once or twice and it hadn't made a noticeable change. It wasn't until I started just pressing them over and over that I saw the change. Good luck!
- I found a solution at http://www.watercoolergames.org/archives/000028.shtml
Basically, if there is gunk around the edge of the screen it will essentially disable the touch screen. I took a paper clip and cleaned out the small crevice around the edge of the screen then used a compressed air can to blow out the rest. I ran the touch calibration as noted in other posts and this time I actually had a target to select and everything worked after that. - Maybe this will help someone...
I called LeapFrog Help line at 800-701-5327. They said to recalibrate the screen by doing the following:
1 - turn on unit
2 - press Home, Hint then B button
3 - Follow recalibration instructions onscreen.
